Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct animal examinations, restrain patients, and review care plans and records
• Obtain vital signs, collect samples, administer vaccines, provide wound care management, complete laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
• Assemble required supplies and instruments for procedures
• Fill prescriptions and administer PO, SQ, IM, IV medications, including proper documentation, logging, and security of controlled drugs
• Maintain a safe, secure, healthy and humane environment by following documented standards and procedures
• Document patients’ conditions, reactions, and changes; update database in an accurate and timely manner
• Ability to demonstrate and follow procedures in catheter placement and phlebotomy

Qualifications and Skills: 

• At least 2 years of experience performing above duties
• Experience in surgery is a plus
• High School Diploma/GED
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and calculations

Available Schedule: Full-time position

• We are open 7 days a week from 7am-6pm
